Ready, Set ……… Do you sometimes feel like you are just not ready to GO? It is important as a student that you keep a sharp mind and have the right attitude so you are able to reach your goals. But in a world filled with negativity, how do we maintain this positive, healthy state of mind? Here are a few tips I discovered that may help you.
Keep a diary – Write down all your ideas, goals, thoughts and plans. Keep track of your goals and evaluate your progress regularly.
Read more – Read, read and read to broaden your knowledge as much as you can. We live in a world where information is easy accessible, use the internet or other resources to help you broaden your mind.
Be positive – Have a go-getter attitude and mind set. A POSTIVE MIND + POSITIVE ATTITUDE = SUCCESS
Find your passion – As Harvey MacKay said, “Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life”. What drives you? What are you interests? Dreams? Goals? Find it and get excited about life!
Get plenty of beauty sleep –The brain is similar to a car engine. An old worn-out engine causes the car to, eventually, break down. Sleep is the oil to your brain. It ensures that your brain is cared for and functioning well. You need to get at least eight hours of sleep every day.
Exercise – Try alternative forms of exercise such as dance to revitalise your mind
